We're just going to focus on the Back to School Must Haves in depth.
My first must have is an awesome planner. I bought this item about a month ago and never found a good time to blog about it. Now seems like a good time! I'll preface this with saying I wasn't looking for a planner yet - the perfect one just fell into my cart and only cost me $5 at Wal-Mart.
It has black and white dots to match my classroom!
Each month has handy dividers. It also goes from July 2013 - December 2014.
Each month begins with a quote!
There is a whole month view for quick glance.
And a spot for more detailed notes on each day. As you can tell, I haven't put this lovely thing to use yet since it's summer. Soon enough.
The next thing I've been working towards is matching decor in my classroom. While this isn't a necessity, it makes me happier if the room is nice to look at. I'm the same way with my home. I enjoy the decorating part. I'm excited to finally get up to my next week and start setting stuff up. There's one week until I have to be back and I'll probably spend most of it getting things in place. I'm okay with that.
The third thing, which I feel is also the most essential item, is a positive outlook. Negativity breeds negativity. I want to look for the good in this year.
Now for the exciting thing I found...it's another exchange of sorts! I recommend that you go check out the following link for more information! I'm really excited to participate in this one. Speaking of exchanges, I have a lovely present to go box up for the Blogger Exchange. Excited to get that one in the mail tomorrow. I've really enjoyed shopping for someone else. :)
Hey Pam! I found you because you are right behind me on the currently linky party! I am a new blogger and I'm your newest follower now :) I love your blog! The planner you got looks awesome! I currently have an Erin Condren one but it's a bit bulky. I am having the same problem as you with getting my decor together- it's kind of all over the place right now but there are just so many "themes" and elements that it's so hard for me to decide!
